Why should I use Rock Doctor products?
Most household cleaners can be harmful to granite or marble or other surfaces because they are acidic. Repeated applications of acidic cleaners will eventually damage and destroy the look of your surface and the sealant. Rock Doctor products are non-acidic and non-abrasive. They have been formulated with your surface in mind. Regular soap and water or the “blue” cleaner can eventually harm your surface and certainly damage the look and luster.
What should I use to apply Rock Doctor products?
We would suggest using a cloth towel to apply both the cleaner and polish.
How often should I use the products?
Of course, that depends on your situation, but we do recommend using our cleaner on a daily basis if needed. The polish should be applied once every week or two depending on your activity level with the surface.
Which should I use first- the cleaner or the polish?
We recommend cleaning your surface first. After wiping it down and letting it dry you should apply the polish.
What surfaces can I use your products on?
Any sealed stone, marble and solid surface counter can be maintained by Rock Doctor Granite Cleaner and Polish.
Can I use your products on my granite floor?
The cleaner can be used but we do not recommend the polish to be used because it can create a slippery shine which might cause accidents.
Why should I polish my surface if it has already been sealed?
Rock Doctor Granite Polish leaves a water resistant protective coating that helps safeguard your surface against glass rings, spills and etching. Special emollients and carnauba wax fill in tiny cracks and imperfections, restoring your surface to its original luster and smoothness.
